How to Start a Meme Page (Simple Guide)

I run a meme brand under @corporatedudes that I grew to over 1M+ followers in under a year. I also run a Meme Agency making funny and viral memes for a variety of niches

Been running meme pages for years and see people overcomplicate this constantly. Here's the actual no BS formula:

(The best and easiest channel to grow a meme page is instagram. So this guide will be tailored to that.)

1. Pick a niche and stick to it

Don't make "general memes." Pick something specific - work memes, gym memes, college memes, whatever. The more niche, the better. People follow accounts that consistently deliver what they expect.

2. Setup Your Meme Page

- Username that relates to your niche (workplacememes, gymbromemes, etc.)

- Public profile obviously

- Bio that tells people exactly what they'll get ("Daily work memes for the 9-5ers")

3. Use Free Meme tools to Edit/Source Templates

Stop spending hours on basic meme makers like img fip. Use something like insidermemes.com that generates custom memes for your niche. Has video meme templates that are actually trending, not the same Drake format from 2019.

If you want to do it on your own source templates from other meme pages and use capcut to edit them

4. Post consistently

Pick a posting schedule and stick to it. Consistency beats quality every time on social media.

One video meme per day is the sweet spot.

That's literally it.

What to Expect & Advice

It will take between 1-3 months to get significant traction on your meme page. It will be a pain in the ass at times to remember to post, but in a few weeks you will get use to it. i recommend posing first thing in the morning when you make up. Make it part of your routine

Once you hit 10K+ followers you can then start to monetize through affiliates, promotions, sell your own products, etc. DO NOT try and monetize before 10K because you will hurt your growth.

Do not try and "follow-for-follow" tor buy followers because this could result in a shadow ban.

One of the biggest mistake I see is people post work memes one day, relationship memes the next, then random TikTok trends. Your audience doesn't know what you are.

Stay in your lane. Be the go-to account for that one specific thing.
